FISHING REPORT
Sat Nov 28th
Big water temp drop this morning. Water 51 -air 43 with a west wind a good steady 20. Winds are suppose to die down this afternoon.
Late weigh in yesterday by Ray Sullivan with a 28-4 bass. They seem to be passing that last segment lead derby bass back and forth. At least it is in the family.
Fri Nov 27th
Small bass on metals with teasers also on clams have been the main catch of the day.
At 8:00 am I weighed a 17-8 bass for Courtland Foos that was caught in Holgate this morning. he has put in alot f hours down there this year. he told me during the night was a lot of dogfish.
Doc. T stopped by this am and said he got into small bass in his neighbor-hood yesterday afternoon. He had 7or 8 on sluggos. No other fisherman on the beach.
Some people say that fisherman are crazy. Did you see those people waiting in line all night to buy a laptop? Usually the only time I have to wait to get out of my street to get to work in the morning is Easter Sunday with people going to sunrise services but I guess I will have to add Black Friday to the list.
Showers this morning with a west wind about 10 right now. High wind warnings are up for gusts to 40. Air temp 49 and water is 54.
Fishing has slowed down alot for the surf fisherman but North of us they are catching alot because of the amount of sand eels that they have. Hopefully we will get a shot of those fish and maybe get a dinner fish out of it. Try using metals with teasers.
