At 5 am there is a west wind about 12. Air temp 44 this morning and ocean 56.
Beach has a lot of anglers this morning but not many fish as of 11am. While fishing with friends Jerry caught a bluefish and a 8 pound bass.
Lots of boats in the ocean and they are catching fish. Mostly jigging for the bass and trolling for the blues. Seems to be more blues on the south end than bass although the clamers on the bars had fish in the 20 pound range.
Weighed a few fish for a kayaker that fished off of Beach Haven this morning. He had a 8 and 11 pound bass and a 12 pound blue.
Matt Shapiro was rewarded with 1 bass for his night in Holgate. This afternoon had a few small bass in Holgate also.
