Jim's Bait and Tackle fishing report 11-21
Hey guys, we are still weighing in some really nice fish from the Del. bay. The lower bay near the bottom of 60 ft. slough, the C&B, Crow shoal and parts of the 20 ft. slough have all been giving up nice bass. Archie Bellows of Vineland brought in two fish a 33lber and a 41 1/2lber from the 20 ft slough. a 46lb fish was caught by Missy Stanton of Petersburg at the lower east side of the 60 ft. slough. The rips were loaded with big blues Sunday but there were plenty of bass caught also. The inshore rips seem to be the most productive Prissy Wick, Eph, & The top of the hill are good places to start.
The surf bite picked up when the big blues moved in on the point beaches Sunday and we weighed in a few hogs during the week along with the blues. Harvey Thomas of Millville caught his personal best 44 lb bass at poverty beach. Maury Felder of Kutztown also caught a 36lber on the point Thursday.
The Tog fishing is excellent on Cold Spring jetty as well as the inshore wrecks. The biggest we've weighed so far is a 13.73 lb fish caught by Brad Warren of Malvern Pa.
Thanks, Matt
