Hey guys, boats are starting to fish the Delaware bay and rips for Stripers and while a some fish were caught it really hasn't turned on yet. The water temp has been dropping and the bait schools are starting to move down the beach. Usually the Bass follow within a week of this happening so by next weekend it should break loose. The Blackfish action is good on the rockpiles and the inshore wrecks. Fishing should still be good in a few weeks when the limit increases. There are also good numbers of Seabass on the CM reef and bigger fish on the wrecks in the 80-100 ft. range they should also be there when the season opens up again. Boats are still picking some Codfish on the wrecks between the 20 and 30 fathom lines.
The surf is producing some keeper sized Bass but still mostly shorts but this can change any day now.
Thanks, Matt
