Hey guys, Fishing was outstanding in the rips this week up until Saturday when the wind chopped up the bay. Sunday the fishing picked up on the outside rips but still wasn't as good as earlier in the week. The fish were being taken on just about anything you threw at them. I fished Monday and trolled up 7 fish to 46 inches myself thanks to a friend who called me in on the bite. Jim fished Thanksgiving morning on Art Kushner's boat "The Dreamer" they landed over 30 bass on spot and lures. The bay is also still producing fish. Sunday most of the boats didn't seem to catch very well until the outgoing tide but it picked up well in the afternoon.
The surf was also pretty good this week. Monday and Tuesday the big blues were in the surf at CM point mixed in were some nice bass also. Nickolas Cox age 14 of Cape May weighed in a 30 lb bass caught at the point.I forgot to bring home the names of the guys who caught fish Sunday on poverty beach but I weighed 5 fish all caught on bunker up to 28lbs.
