More of the same to report. Bass and big bass at that are being caught from the boat while the surf fishermen are finding some nice fish as well. We have had a few blitzes in the Bat Head area over the last 2 days. The fish were all high 20's to 40lbs when they did decide to chase the bunker up onto the beach.

Again, heavy jigs, trolling and snagging bunker from the boats, while clams and bunker are the top baits for the surf guys.

Just keep those jigs big, such as Bunker Jigs, Krocs, Big Ava's and even butterfly jigs normally used for tuna!

The bass just keep coming into the scale. Snagging bunker and jigging the big stuff is finding the bigger fish! Go big, go heavy on the jigs.

Below is a pic of the Bunker Jig that is getting all of the attention recently.

Its next to the reel in the close up pic. They weigh 7 - 9 ozs and have a nice bend to them for a flutter action very much like the Krocs. Also double as a tuna jig with a quick hook change.
