Striped bass have been scattered now since the bunker boats have been busting up the bunker pods. They are still around, but not in the big pods like recently. Smaller pods with smaller pods of bass are being found.
The fluke/flounder fishermen are reprting a slow start to the season. Water temps are a little cool.
The big news recently, is the drum that are being caught. Alot of fish in the 60-70lb range are being caught. Its been pretty much a good fishery this week. Clams, clams, and clams.
Drum are even beingn caught up by Sandy Hook, near Manasquan Inlet too.
