Plenty of bass, bluefish and even huge fluke in the surf right now. Bass and blues are being caught on both bait and lures. The most popular lures have been JCC Sandees and also our custom chrome sandeels. The sandeels are the dominant bait in the surf right now. Fresh clams are working best on the bass .

We have a nice addition to the inshore action right now as well!! We have big bluefin tuna invading our inshore waters right now. They are as close as just a 1/2 mile off the beach right now in the BayHead area and have been caught out on the inshore reefs as well, such as Sea Girt and Axel Carlson reefs. They are on the sandeels big time and jigging them up has been the best way to find them!!! trolling has been ok, but the sandeel imitations are the best way to go.....thats what they are eating!!

Seabass and porgys still on the inshore reefs as well mentioned above!!
