Fall Classic Tournament week Update:

Tautog season reopens in Delaware waters on Wednesday, September 29. Call ahead about the availability of live sand fleas. Rainy weather and rough beach conditions early this week may make supply limited. We will have live green crabs.

The Delaware Seashore Fall Surf Fishing Classic will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 2-3. Registrations are being accepted until 7am on Saturday. Preregistered participants can pick up their tournament packets on Friday from 12pm until 8pm.

We had some nice bluefish on the beach before the weather turned bad. Hopefully they will be back in time for the tournament.

For those of you not in the tournament but still wanting to fish the beach be advised that Keybox Road is not in the tournament fishing area. 3R's, Conquest, Savages Ditch and Fenwick are all in the tournament area.

Bluefish have been hitting on the incoming tide in the Indian River Inlet. The striper fishing will likely improve once the weather clears up.
