Yep, your gonna need stitches
I'm back and have Live HERRING in stock.
Ray kept things moving thru the first three weeks of march while I was in the sun of Guatemala. Unfortunately I was not on the water, but working with my partner Capt. Dennis Wheeler to get our boat together. For info on that check the central american report or jump to my web page.
As to the striper fishing it appears that I got back just in time. The temperatures are coming up despite the constant rain and even though we haven't seen any big fish to get the gift certificates for the first 20 and 30 pounders there have been reports. Most of the action locally appears to be in the Mullica and Egg Harbor rivers, but with this weeks full moon and some late week sun I expect things to really break loose.
This week should bring a HERRING run to the rivers, but remember that NJ regulations are now limiting you to 10 fish possession, PERIOD! They have not changed the commercial regulations and I've been getting some fresh dead HERRING from a local commercial netter and I have set my own nets and do have live HERRINGS swimming in my tanks. It looks like a lot of fish are in the rivers because I have seen the Ospreys hunting hard. Much better than I have seen in the last couple years.
These are legal fish and if you buy even one I will give you a reciept so you can prove where you got the fish. I will try and keep the price reasonable, but I have to make sure that i have plenty for my live bait trips which I hope will start in the middle of April. You can be sure that the C.O.'s are keeping a good eye on me, but I play by the rules and plan on keeping it that way.
All other baits are in stock. Bloodworms, Clams, minnows and more.
