Shrewsbury rocks on Sunday seemed really slow....
So we showed up at the rocks around 6:50am on sunday we were drifting just inshore of the inshore green can.... After about an 1.5 without a touch we decided to make a move (as it seemed that all the boat were moving off shore).
On the ride down we marked a ton of fish right off the highlands bridge; we took the short ride north and anchored for some chunk action. To make a long story short we had actino for about 45 mins with only one fish in the box; it was the wife 1st striped bass; it took a head and had two other heads and 3/4 of a bunker in its stomach. The fish weighed in at 18#s and just about 35". What a great day; it is late in the season but at least we had a bass in the box! |

Well the angler of said bass was not willing to pose....
unless of course I was willing to pay royalties (to make up for the 4:45am wake up call), and deal with a bunch of other Lawyer type stuff. Surely just her way to stay off the internet!
