A court awarded a homeowner in Harvey Cedars $480,000 because beach replenishment will take away part of his ocean View. A town official said that if they have to pay 480 a house that will effectively stop beach replenishment. It seems to me that the guy will get $480 and end up losing a 1.5- 2 million house to the sea. I'm sure an insurance company will figure a way to get out of that claim.
