Good seeing you again @ the tourney! Nice job on that fish. I saw you & Chuck out there, that Contender is a sweet boat. Saturday the waves were pretty big out there in the morning but they laid down nice in the afternoon.
We fished pretty hard but didnt have anything over 15lbs, not worth weighing... and too many blue fish I can't even count...ironically we pre-fished thursday & friday and had bass up to 30lbs...go figure! At least I'm being consistent...3 tourney's 0 weigh in's!!

    Congrats to all who placed!

Hope to see everyone again in Cape May (If I can get the boat Trailored down there)

    Pic from friday
Saturday did lay down real nice in the afternoon, Chuck's face was priceless when he yelled when that wave came over the top!

Great seeing you hopefully you will make it down to Cape May

Mary I hope you feel better!! I had some advil for breakfast this morning as well. pretty sad when you're too (tired and) sore for the cubicle! Worth every minute of it though, we really had fun too, those ugly, bleedy, pukey chompers were fun, just too hard on bait!!! Hoping for another cow but had a lotta fun with throwing back the smaller guys(Come back when you get bigger!!) Got a little snotty coming out of the canal Sunday thanks to the guy in front of us on his cell phone going 2 knots! Congrats to Hapidaze !! (FOUNTAIN RULES!!) , Bunker Down and Tyman!! A good time was had by us..We're hooked, it was a great Tourney

It was definitely snotty on Saturday, the bigger ones were at an area were the depth significantly changed and there were a few of them mixed in. The problem was they were tight and back to back. You would come off one and the one right behind it would nail you.

Sunday was bumpy too but it was from boat traffic. I much rather deal with it when its big like Saturday then with a bunch of boats running all around.

For the boats, The rougher it is the better it runs and handle's ran 35-40 up the beach and it got snottier as we went, left the autopilot on and alone, not pulling back once. When its rough out and running when you start feeling like you are going to get beat up, bump the throttles up another 3-5 and it smooths out. That's where that whole "Contender Weather" statement comes from.

Same old story......I can answer those questions but some probably would not want to hear the answers.

Mainly & most importantly the location needs to advertise and get more people involved
