Another Pretty Beach Day
Thursday, September, 1, 2011 at 4:07AM
The waters have cleaned up nicely from the visit by Irene and some Mullet have been sen in the neighborhood. We got a load of FRESH Bunker in yesterday afternoon. I am thinking bluefish, we just need a few fishermen on the beach to find out. The only Fluke report I got for the surf was some shorts a Bucktail with Gulp. The crabbing in the bay is like Irene never happened. The Blowfish are there too if you want to multitask.
The evil weatherman is still taking it easy on us - Sunny. Highs in the upper 70s. East winds 5 to 10 mph.
Mike ordered more rod blanks yesterday. He has about as much control as two rabbits on a first date.

Beautiful Beach Day!
Pretty much as nice a day as you could ask for. IBSP has reopened and we had the first few guys go exploring yesterday. The Blowfish in the bay seem to be hungry after Irene blew thru and the crabbers are multitasking, bringing along a rod and having double the fun.
Not even the evil weatherman can find a problem with today - Sunny. Highs in the lower 80s. North winds around 5 mph...becoming east in the afternoon.
Mike doesnt care what people think of him. they dont do it very often.
