The Blues are getting Bigger?
Saturday, October, 8, 2011 at 2:57AM
We may just have an invasion of some big blues going on. There has been a fisherman shortage all week so it is hard to get a lot of info from so few but there are a couple of blues over 10 lbs reported caught on AVAs. The steady pick of Bass continues with a couple more in the book yesterday. Again, not enough info to tell you what they prefer so get everything you own wet!
Lets hope the weather idiots have this one right - Sunny. Highs in the lower 70s. West winds 5 to 10 mph.
Only from the mind of Mike - If money doesnt grow on trees, why do banks have branches?

And another pretty day!
Very light turnout again yesterday depite the beautiful weather. There were Bass caught in the early AM on all sorts of artificials but not a lot of info came in after that. It takes fishermen to make a fishing report because you cant catch em from that couch. There is lots of bait in the surf so there should be something wanting to eat them. With the sandeels around, all that long skinny stuff should get plenty of attention, especially with a teaser.
Look! No rain in the forecast - Sunny. Highs in the upper 60s. North winds 5 to 10 mph...becoming east in the afternoon.
Sometimes I think Mikes mouth should have come with a backspace key!

Pretty Day!
Conditions are looking good with plenty of bait around and a slow steady drop in Ocean water temps. We have had a reasonably steady pick of those lovely dinner size Bass for weeks now and it will only get better. Not much news to report from yesterday likely due to only a handful of fishermen on the beaches. I will stick to my theory that there will be no fish caught if there are no fishermen!
No problems from the weather idiots either - Sunny. Highs in the upper 60s. North winds 5 to 10 mph...becoming northwest in the afternoon.
The best way for Mike to get ahead would be to use the one he has.

Are Ya Ready?
All the signs of fall are coming together. Yesterday, we had sand eels washed up on the local beaches at daybreak so there is something chasing them out of the water at night. If you are able to do some night fishing, bring those needlefish with ya. Long skinny suff with a teaser is the way to think.
We got another load of T-Hexes in yesterday. They have been going fast so get em while we got em.
The weather idiots finally stopped trying to make it rain - Sunny. Highs in the lower 70s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
One good thing about being wrong is the joy it brings to others - Mike sure does make a lot of people happy!
