Grumpy's Tackle fishing report 12-1-09
Another good fishin day!
Tuesday, December, 1, 2009 at 5:01AM
We had a pretty good day going yesterday until the rain came and everybody left. The bass and blues are ready to play so get here and have at it before it goes away.
Here is the latest from weather idiot central - Mostly sunny and breezy. Highs in the lower 50s. West winds 15 to 20 mph. I don′t think the winds will get that high but the last time we had a strong west wind we had some silly fishing! December weather is very fickle so take advantage of every decent day you can!
We got some DEADLY DICKS in! They have been flying out the door so come get em while we got em!
Mike had a thought cross his mind yesterday - it was a long and lonely journey.

Previous Reports 11.30.09 - Hot or cold fishing! From the conversations yesterday, you had either some really good fishing or just another day on the beach. The fish are definately here, you just have to be in the right place at the right time. The bunker were more of a distraction as they stayed out of range for the most part. If you were lucky enough to be there when some came in you had a real lot of fun. If you kept riding around chasing them all you got was the oportunity to stop for gas on the way home. Most of yesterdays weigh-ins came from guys who just picked a spot and fished it!
Congrats to Nine year old Matt Dubas who got his first Bass yesterday. He was pretty excited about having a keeper and I believe I heard him offer free fishing lessons to his Dad!
The weather will get a little damp this afternoon but dont let that stop you. Not only do the fish have no fear of a little water, the last time it got rainy we had more fish than fishermen. This is what the weather idiots have for a guess today - Cloudy. Rain this afternoon. Highs in the upper 50s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph...becoming west this afternoon. Chance of rain 90 percent. Bring the rain gear, the fish are here!
A few of Mikes acquaintances think he needs a new alarm clock for Xmas. He is currently having his wife wake him up when he is late for fishing! Oh, the shame!
