Grumpy's Bait and Tackle, Seaside Park report 3-23
A better day!
Tuesday, March, 23, 2010 at 4:42AM
The rain seems to have blown through overnight and the remnants are mostly offshore. Here is what the nefarious weatherman came up with after shaking his magic eightball - Mostly cloudy this morning...then becoming partly sunny. A 40 percent chance of showers. Highs in the mid 50s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph. This is soooo much better than snow!
As expected, we had less than crowded conditions on the beaches yesterday. Ocean water temps are holding in the upper 40s. With some sunshine, I would expect to see the 50s by next weekend.
That Mike sure does have an open mind! You can feel the draft from 50 feet away.

Picking on the weatherman again and the same thing happens. You would think he would learn.
Heard of some good white perch action in the upper Toms River last night still lots of bass to be had in the usual spring spots. Winter flounder opens today and you can keep a whopping two fish. I think it′s cheaper to just buy them at the fish store. Use them as a by catch when you are striper fishing.
I may have an open mind but at least I have a mind.... Mike
kittykats08752 you sure know how to hurt a persons feelings thanks a lot.
