Bad news - gonna be windy. Good news - gonna be windy. That westerly wind that has brought us some excellent fishing this fall is gonna really crank today. Mixed results yesterday. Apparently there were Bass that were big enough to take home as dinner guests but not big enough to weigh in. Why? I cannot tell ya. I always thought that any December keeper weighed in would be a good way to show the guys who quit fishing early know what a mistake they made.
We Have Fresh Clams and bunker.
The weather idiots put some effort into this one - Mostly sunny this morning...then mostly cloudy with scattered flurries this afternoon. Very windy with highs in the upper 30s. West winds 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

The Polar Bear Bass Tournament starts on New Years Day and runs until April Fools Day! A whole whopping $10 entry fee gets you a chance to win CA$H and prizes. There are plenty of decent weather days all winter when you would like to be fishing anyway and we do have a resident Bass population. Sure does beat a severe case of cabin fever! Entry forms are in the store!

Yup, Still got Bass!
Actually, pretty good fishing yesterday. The guys that put on the winter clothes and put in some time got into some fish. Again, we heard about a lot of those mystery Bass that went into the box but didn′t stop at the scale on the way home for dinner but there are a few on the list! I expect we will have the same today so dress for it and get in another day of sun and fun. We have plenty of Fresh Clams and Fresh Bunker.
