Bass & Blues aplenty! Don′t forget to VOTE!

Take a look at the weigh-in list for yesterday and then consider the fact that only a small percentage of the fish going home as dinner guests actually stop at the scale and a lot of fish are released! The fishing got silly at times with most of the reports coming from IBSP (because most of the fishermen were in IBSP?). Bluefish in the mid teens were common and I talked with several guys that had quit fishing and were going home due to fatigue (Don′t you feel sorry for the poor guys?). Mullet, Bunker and Clams all got the job done and we have em all. Assorted plugs, poppers, pencil poppers, shads, T-Hexes, AVAs, Skip′s, Deadly Dick′s, oh heck, just about anything would work yesterday! You might consider turning off the computer and heading for the beaches.
The evil weatherman is giving us another good fishing day - Sunny. Highs in the lower 50s. North winds around 10 mph. Take advantage of it if you can.
Mike has a favorite song - It goes like this - I can see clearly now, the brain is gone.

Grump likes it when I sing it to him. It makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside. If he only knew it was written for him.....

Pretty decent day!
Sunday had some very nice Bass hit the scale! The beaches weren′t very crowded (some guys stayed home to go trick or treating?) and some bluefish were cruising around to liven things up every once in a while. Conditions today will be similar to yesterday except the wind will be lighter so I am thinking the good solid bite should continue. We have plenty of fresh bunker and fresh clams.
Here is the final decision for the day from your fiends at the weather bureau (until they change it) Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 50s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
