Well, we had one nice day in a row! The wind comes back later today so if you want to be out and about, do it early! Winter won't last forever but it may start to seem that way. It will be a warm day but that won't last - Partly sunny in the morning...then mostly cloudy with showers likely in the afternoon. Windy with highs in the lower 50s. South winds 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent. Charming isn't it!
If you have been waiting for those Spin Link Clips, they will be here this afternoon, finally. I ordered all I could so get em while we got em.
Don't forget the Berkeley Striper Club Fishing Flea Market this Sunday in Seaside Heights! Mike will be there with three model of the Seeker Ula's (odd name - great rod) for a litttle show and tell! Some of the best plug builders will be there too!
Mike found out that my suitcase only weighed 38 lbs. It gained 7 pounds when he walked in the door and he was measuring it up to see what else of his he could jam into it! My wife doesn't even pack that much stuff when she goes away!
Grumpy hisself
What Grump doesn't know is that I am slowly moving to Trinidad one suitcase at a time. You can never have enough toys when your away from home.
Got some great new medium action 7' blanks from Seeker. They will make a great medium duty rod for back bay plugging etc.Nice for bucktails and rubber shads.
Don't forget the back bay opens to striper fishing on March 1 and from what I have been hearing there are plenty of bass in the bay. Toms river and Oyster Creek having the largest concentration. See you at the flea market...........Mike
