We are now on Eastern Std Time, did you reset your clocks???
We did Pretty darn good in the weigh-in department yesterday and when you consider how tough the conditions were, there was some good catching going on! Special congrats to 8 year old Rebecca Roseti who brought in her first Bass ever at 30 inches, 8.8 lbs and 7 year old Alexander Howey with one at 29 inches, 8.15 lbs! Great job kids!!!
The wind died out yesterday so expect some friendlier conditions today. You will still have some big surf but the Bass do seem to like it rough! Be sure to bring that plugging pole with teasers and metal. Clams did most of the Bass on the scale yesterday, we have some Fresh Bunker but will run out this morning.
Here is the latest from the weather idiots - Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 50s. East winds around 5 mph...becoming south this afternoon.
I am trying to get Mike to change his mind, hopefully for one that works better.

Breezey but nice!
We had some nice dinner size bass weighed in yesterday. The Berkeley Striper Club Catch and Release tournament had six fish reported overnight. The NE winds should be diminshing during the day today and throwing some skinny metals with a teaser may just be a good idea! Bring the big sticks and heavy metal but the bass do like this weather. We have FRESH BUNKER!
This is what the weather idiots are exagerating today - Sunny and breezy. Highs in the lower 50s. Northeast winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
According to Mike, 73.55% of all statistics are made up.

Longer hours tonight!
We are hosting the Berkeley Striper Clubs Catch and Release Tournament so we will just stay open all night. Cant sleep and have the urge to fish? We will be here!
WE HAVE FRESH BUNKER!
The weigh-in list for yesterday was a not what we expected with only one bass on the scale but we did hear about more of those mystery fish that go into the box but never make it to the scale. Clams and skinny metals with teasers seem to be a good way to go!
The weather idiots have this on their alledged minds - Partly sunny and windy. Highs in the mid 50s. North winds 15 to 25 mph.
Mike took an IQ test and the results were negative!

Its Time To Fish!
We had some fishermen show up yesterday and, by golly, we had some nice weigh-ins!!! Coincidence? I think not! The fall migration means the fish are on the move and you have to be there when they come through. Yesterday, the favorite was AVAs and plugs, the day before it was clams. We got a load of FRESH BUNKER in last nite so maybe that will be the magic today? You wont know if you dont go! Ocean water temps have dropped into the upper 50s and it has cleaned up nicely.
You cant use the weather as an excuse either - Sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Dont know what you are waiting for!
Yesterday was another day with a light turnout but we still put Bass on the scale. If you are thinking four fish isnt very good, just consider how few of the fish that go home as dinner guests get weighed in! Clams were geting the job done yesterday with hi-lo rigs in close getting a lot of attention. There is a night bite using needlefish with a teaser. You have to get some beach hours in to get em. Dont worry, that couch will be there all winter.
No weather problems to keep you home either - Sunny. Highs in the upper 50s. North winds 5 to 10 mph... becoming northwest this afternoon.
