What a weekend!
Monday, November, 28, 2011 at 4:20AM
This has been a Thanksgiving weekend that will go down in the record books. A little less crowded on the beaches yesterday but we still had good action and put a couple dozen Bass on the scale! Skinny metals with a teaser is the best bet for artificials still and fresh Clams are getting their share also. We have a little weather coming in Tuesday so try to get out today to get that before the storm bite.
No excuses because of the weather idiots - Partly sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. South winds around 10 mph.
We are a collection point for the annual Christmas Toy Drive for Philadelphia Childrens Hospital. If you have a little extra in your pocket and some room in your heart, please drop off a new unwrapped toy before December 10th. Thanks!
This just in from Mikes research dept. A bicycle cant stand on its own because it is two-tired.

Amazing!
About another 60 Bass on the weigh-in list yesterday! Of special note, a rightfully proud and happy, 10 year old Rebecca Gilbert with a 32.5 inch, 12.60 lb Bass she caught in IBSP using an AVA! NICE! Assorted skinny metals with the all important teaser once again ruled the weigh-in list. Fresh Clams are getting fish also and some of the guys are having a good time with Vision Eels and Tsunami Sand eels. I know this great run of fish just has to slow down at some point so get off the couch and get into em while they are here!!!
No weather related excuses either -
Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph.

Mike has the day off today or more correctly, my ears have the day off today!

WOW - Again!!!
We put another 80 or so Bass on the scale yesterday! If you spent Black Friday at the mall instead of on the beach you had better get out there today! If you were one of the smart ones and were on the beach, get back there again today because we have not seen a solid run of Bass like this in decades!!! Skinny Metals with the all important teaser and Fresh Clams did the job again yesterday. Ocean water temps are in the mid 50s and I expect to see another sweet day of action!
No problems from the evil weatherman either - Sunny. Highs in the mid 60s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

The great fishing continues!
Thanksgiving Day we had another 38 Bass on the scale! Not bad for closing early! Congrats to 10 year old Leah Kosa who got her first keeper! Once again, I was talking to guys that had doubles and some that had sore arms from so many fish! The sandeel population is huge and the Bass are loving it! Skinny metals with that all important teaser is the way to go and soaking a Clam has been working too! You can spend Black Friday in a mall or on the beach playing with the Bass. Choose wisely!
No problems with the evil weatherman either - Sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. West winds 10 to 15 mph.

Happy Thanksgiving!
We are open from 4:30am till 2 pm today!
My apologies for being late with the report but we had a little computer difficulties. Pretty much a washout yesterday with the lousy weather keeping the beaches empty but we did get one Bass on the scale. There were reports of some grass in IBSP yesterday but I expect that to have cleaned up overnight. No weather problems today so I hope we get right back to the stellar fishing/catching that has been just getting better daily. Fresh Clams and skinny metals with the all important teaser is the way to go!
Here is the latest from the weather idiots -
Sunny and breezy. Highs in the lower 50s. Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph...becoming west around 10 mph this afternoon.

Mike has had little to say lately. Come to think of it, when he talks, he still has little to say!

Over 30 fish weighed in - again!
We will be open from 4:30am until 2pm on Thanksgiving Day!
The weather got a little rough yesterday but we still hung a bunch of Bass on the scale even with the light turnout. The forecast for today looks worse than it is (as usual)and conditions will just improve through the day. The skinny metals with the all important teasers are still accounting for the lions share of the Bass but Clams are getting them too! Ocean water temps are in the mid 50s and it looks like we should see plenty of fish caught. Happy Thanksgiving Eve.
This just in from the idiots at the how bad can I make this sound dept. - Showers. A slight chance of thunderstorms this morning. Breezy with highs in the lower 60s. Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph...becoming northwest this afternoon. Gusts up to 35 mph. Chance of rain 90 percent.
