Grumpy's Bait and Tackle Fishing Report, Seaside Park, 6-30-10
Another beautiful day
Wednesday, June, 30, 2010 at 5:07AM
Yesterday was pretty light in beach attendance but we still had bass on the scale. It takes fishermen to generate a fishing report so that is about it!
The weather idiots have this for today - Partly cloudy. Highs in the lower 80s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph. With not even a hint of a t-storm, it has to be a great beach day.
The 2nd annual Garbagefish Tournament starts tomorrow July 1st. Not only is this month long Tournament a lot of fun but there are some great (cash) prizes. A lot of you have developed substantial expertise with Sea Robins, Skates and Dogfish over the years so sign up and impress all your friends. Entire families have signed up and are running a mini tournament within the tournament for braggin rights! We have registration forms in the store or go to www.garbagefish.com to sign up and get all the info!
Forget youth, we need Mike to take a drink from the foutain of smart!

A nice list of weigh-ins on Sunday and the fishermen stay home on Monday anyway? Tough to give a report with the participation level this low.
The weather idiots came up with this - Mostly cloudy early...then becoming mostly sunny. A slight chance of showers early this morning. Hot with highs in the lower 90s. West winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent. The fools finally get one right yesterday and now they think they know what they are doing? Mt prediction is that they are now 1 in a row wrong!
I am going to have a long talk with Mike today. Wait a minute, every talk with Mike is a long talk!

Surfcasters are picking a few fluke and bass from the beach . They still have bunker in the neighborhood and though the pace has slowed down bass are occasionally coming up to take a bunker for a meal. The blues are scattered around also and mostly taking bunker or metal and poppers. Mike Malek from the shop did a little fluke fishing in Oyster Creek and had quite a mess of fluke but only one keeper
