OK, Back to fishing!

Yesterday was about what I expected, the weather was totally miserable and we had an extreme shortage of fishermen. We get back to seasonal weather today, including that lovely westerly wind that has done us good all fall. We had fish before the blow, and I expect we will have fish after it too.
The weather idiots have calmed down quite a bit - Sunny. Much cooler with highs in the lower 40s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph.
Another shipment of stuff arrived yesterday. Lots of boxes to open so we will try to get it all out by sundown today!

Might need that rain gear today!
We had some fishermen on the beaches yesterday and, by golly, there were some fish caught! Fish were scattered all over the local beaches and the guys who moved around had a real good day. There were some shorts but plenty of keepers and while most are dinner sized, there are some pretty hefty fish around, just check the weigh-in list. I expect to have very few anglers out in the rain today with the resulting lack of results. The rain is suposed to slack off later today and I think we will have more fish out there than fishermen. Get out the rain gear and enjoy the wide open beaches. We have plenty of Fresh Clams and Fresh Bunker.
The weather idiots ran wild with this forecast - Rain with a chance of thunderstorms this morning...then showers this afternoon. Rain may be heavy at times this morning. Very windy with highs in the lower 60s. Temperatures falling this afternoon. Southeast winds 25 to 30 mph...becoming southwest this afternoon. Gusts up to 50 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent. They got the rain part right only because it was already raining when they went to work.
We will be holding a Polar Bear Tournament. New years Day thru April fools day! Only a $10 entry fee and the three winners will be based on the combined weight of your three biggest fish. All the details and a registration form will be available on Friday!
Mikes brain must be made of teflon - nothing sticks!
