    Great Striper Trip

Fished Ruddie inlet 12/30 with Capt. Steve on the Backlash.Capt. and crew were unbelievbablely good at what they do. Weather was a problem for our original date with Capt. Troy on the Marauder so because he was booked the 30th he hooked us up with Capt. Steve.(thanks for that we'll fish together soon Troy). Back to the trip, My guys are all real good stripper fisherman from N.J. and just wanted to catch and release alot of big fish. That is just what this crew put us into. Thanks again to Capt.Steve, and crew and Capt Troy for the hook up.

    Good to hear..

about a great trip. The boys at the fishing center are great at finding fish. I'm glad your trip went well. Just a quick question: How far past the line did you find them ...good thing it was catch and release j/k

Indeed you had a great day...I saw on the fishing center site backlash reported that they had 60+ releases, that's impressive

Steve has been at it for over 40 years earlier this year he set the East Coast Record for the most White Marlin caught in one day 41 Releases. They had a total of 73 scratches in 5 days .He is really good at what he does that is no joke.

    Every single one of 'em.

    Hey, I know you.

    Hey Capt. Troy,
Good to hear you're fishing and doing well.
My former employer used to get us down there every fall to fish offshore. I spoke with you at the dock several times and a couple of associates of mine and I made it out to look for Stripers with you a couple of years ago.
We had a hard day fishing but I really enjoyed your company as well as fishing with you.
I hope to do so again soon.
