FUN DAY OF FLUKING

Had a great day of fluke fishing on Thursday 7/10/08. Took the wife, kids and my nephew. We all caught keepers, (5 total), alot of shorts, and about 60 mussels. My nephew caught his first Fluke (21"). Cooked it all up when we got home. The mussels were so sweet and fresh. The weather was perfect. Couldn't ask for a better day of fishing.

Just snagged them while trying to catch fluke, thought it was a bag or something, because it wasn't fighting. Heard though, that in NJ you are not allowed to keep them, didn't know that at the time. You need a license to catch them. Never been to NC, but we actually picked Wilmington, NC to retire. How is it down there. Not ready for retirement just yet but would like to visit. Thanks for comment on my beautiful family.
