Friday saturday reports
It was a slow pick in the rips as, from what I saw people were having a hard time trying to get a hookup. We were able to boat three fish releasing one that was 22 inches and keeping two..one 38 and one 35. after the tide ran slack I ran up the bay to chunk. Once the anchor was set I (myself) had a runoff as I set up on the bass which at this point was ripping line out of the real I lock her up take in the slack and drill the hook home....that was until the rod hit the outrigger and stoped my rod midway. after that not one more pickup then the tide started to run hard so we left and ran back down to the rips to finish out the tide and thats when we caught the little one. We had some hook ups that never came tight and lost two to the props . It was a slow day but still had a great time with the charter .saturday. BRB. |
