Fluke out of Cape May...

Went out today (7/18) for a few hours out of Cape may had a ton of short sea bass, a bunch of short fluke... the nice part was that we caught a 25 inch, 7LBer!!!

Great to see those big Fluke come into the dock for the sportsman. Too many of them ar taken way out deep by the draggers when they are in the cold months Jan/Feb.

Bait on your rig?

Hi:
Just a hint on bait placement for the rest of the guys. Always place your fillet of bait with teh SKIN SIDE UP on the hook. That way the bait WON'T BALL up when that monster Fluke attacks your bait . You won't have to drive that hook thru your BAIT TWICE.
