The fishing has picked up for the bass fishermen again with bass being caught all up and down the shore. Brick Beach turned into a hot spot for local surf fishermen and boaters alike. Bass up to 40lbs are being caught once again and the blitzes are happening almost daily now too. The best lure for the bass if you cant snag some live bunker has been the 5oz and 7oz Krocs! The action on the way down is what makes this jig supperior to all others.

The fluke are in shallow waters and the surf fishermen aare scoring soem nice fish up to 6lbs. The boats are hangiong in that 30 -40ft range along the beaches and getting a 8-1 ratio of keepers with soem boats bringing their limits into port!

After a coupel of quiet weeks we have some good news again!

The Makos are all north, at least most of them are! If your heading out, go out towards the Mudhole or even a little NE of that! The waters to the south are just too warm and will result in hammerheads, browns and if your lucky....small pups as far as Mako goes!!

Good Luck!!
