Flounder Fishing

Not sure what got me to thinking this but, i've gone flounder fishing with a buddy quite a few times when we couldnt go offshore and I have yet to catch a friggin flounder. what's the story? catch alot of skates....heard they taste like scallops a little, is this true? if so how do you prepare them?

They're still out there Zombie. Just gotta have some paitence and suffer thru the junk catches. Better to be catching something instead of nothing right?
What area have you guys gone for flounder?
