FISHING REPORT FISH TALE'S FIRST TRIP FOR 2005

Today was trip #1 for the year and it was a good start. The weather was perfect and the fish cooperated just like I thought they would. I had Rick H. and Chris D on board for our first open boat trip for 05. We sat on the hook up in Delaware Bay about 8 miles from the canal. I had a bunch of fresh clams ready to go and the Striped Bass loved the meal. We dropped the anchor just as the tide started to come in and within 10min. we had our first Bass in the boat. The action was good, several times we had two on at a time. By the time we were ready to head back to the barn the guys had boated 28 STRIPED BASS. We kept our limit of slot fish and one that was 35". The other fish are getting bigger for the next trip. Rick & Chris, thanks for coming out. GREAT JOB GUYS !!
