    Fishing report for 6/7/05

Drum report once again is a little light but the heavier fish are showing up. Ann Unsworth caught her first (and second) drum ever last night @ Slaughter Beach w/her dad and brother Matthew. Weighed it in today @ 38lbs (sorry Ann, but you gotta go to school!).

Last minute weigh in today w/Dave McVey bringing in a nice 10lb tiderunner! Once again, around the Cape May inlet area, this time on clams. Seems like they're biting on anything this year.

Offshore temps are SLOWLY picking up, but not looking great for the shark tourney this weekend. Reports of small threshers showing up. Also had a report from Robert Ransom from the Ugly Mug, who had a small Mako out @ the Wilmington earlier this week, but that's about the only mako I've heard of thus far. We'll keep you posted.
