Wed. 6/22

Seabassin today was not as good as it was yesterday. We got a lot of fish but a lot smaller today. We did have one go to 20". We also got fluke but again they were small. The Fluke should start to pick up on the lumps real soon.

Fri 6/24

Tuna fishing about 38 miles off was real good. We got out there and there was good sign. Water temp was just right, lots of slicks with chic birds every place you looked. 15 minutes into the troll we hooked up and boated the first Bluefin. The action was good thru the day. We hooked up 15 Bluefin pulled the hook on 2 at the boat and boated the other 13. All fish were around 30". Now that's fun!!


Sun 6/26

Back in the bay for some flukin. We had great action but there is a lot of Small fish in the bay. After 4 hours we boated 25 fluke. BUT, all were too small to put in the box.

Mon 6/27

The weather sucked. (Rain) I had to laugh the guys called me in the morning to make sure that the trip was still on. I told them yes, but bring the rain gear. In the back ground I could heard a cheer. I think the boys wanted to get away from the women and kids. HaHa. Anyway, The fluke action has not changed. We caught 18 but they were all short but one. That one fluke was caught at the end of the last drift.
