Fished the raritan bay today with the Marty Boumpani charter to find the bite was slower then it has been. With only 2 keepers boated today along with 3 shorts and 2 bluefish the fishing was not as good as it has been the past few weeks. We did have alot of hits but the bass were being very picky and the charter was having trouble hooking up. hopefully with the weather coming in the clamming bite will pick up later in the week. the fish are definately still there and we will be out fishing for them.
