I did hear of a few stripers caught from the surf before Christmas but that was it. No one fishing. The water temps are now in the lower 40's. If I hear anything I will let you know, but I don't think anybody will be fishing today with the rain. Some of the party boats will be sailing for mackerel soon. No reports about blackfishing lately. Don't forget our Winter Sale is in full swing now. So stop in and see what we have.

Well believe it or not some people did fish yesterday. Had a report that a few stripers were caught from around the Brick and Lavalette area. Also heard that boaters who went out caught some bass off of IBSP. People fishing blackfish are doing pretty good right now.

No one is fishing that I heard of. Guess the storm ended the surf fishing for the year for most. I had some people in the store last night buying rigs for blackfish because they were going out today. No body fishing the bays. Almost all the boats are now out of the water as well. Looks like the bay reports will be slow until next year.

No one fishing. Had a lot of calls yesterday to see if there is any fishable ice around. I had to tell everyone that right now it is only skim ice. If there is any reports of good ice I will report here.

A few brave souls were in for bait but didn't get any reports. They did tell me they can't wait for some ice.
