Saltwater Report: 1/8/2010
Well no one fishing the surf and the only other action I have heard of is party boaters fishing for mackerel. That has started to be pretty good. Also some of the boats are running weekend trips to wrecks for ling, cod, and pollock. I have not heard anything from the blackfish crowd lately.

Might be a good day to fish but I can tell you that most likely you will be the only one. The beaches have been empty because of the cold and wind.

Nobody fishing because of the cold and wind. Bad thing is, it is suppose to get colder later in the week. Now is the time to check the tackle box, greese the reels, check the guides and wraps on the rod, and fix what needs to be fixed.

Bay Report: 1/8/2010
Not hearing too much other then some guys are trying to fish for white perch but I have had no reports.

Heard some tried to fish the bays but there is ice and had to get out to the good spots.

Fresh Water Report: 1/8/2010
With this snow be careful if you are going to try to ice fish. The snow covers up the bad ice.

Guys are buying minnows to go fishing but not telling where the good ice is. They are also buying stuff to jig with so most likely they are fishing for crappie.

Ok was told there was some ice that was ok to fish but was not told where. I guess they didn't want a lot of people fishing there.
