Few did fish the surf yesterday in that heavy wind. The couple of reports I did get told me no fish were caught. Today should be much better. With the west wind casting will not be a problem.
Lots of short stripers being caught from Graveling Point/Pebble Beach area yesterday. The bite slowed down at low tide because the heavy wind made it a very low tide. The report I got was that lots are fishing that area now but only saw one keeper taken. Raritan Bay still is producing good catches of stripers on clams. Didn't hear much else, most likely not many fished yesterday because of the wind.
Got a call yesterday morning asking if I had any bait in stock for stripers. A guy on the Delaware was fishing for herring and had stripers all over the place just south of Trenton Makes World Takes Bridge. Other then that no reports.
