No reports from the surf. Looks like the weekend is going to be nice so maybe there will be some fishing. Water temp continue to raise and are in the upper 40's now along most of the coast.

Flounder fishing is heating up in most bays. Most of the hot spots in Barnegat Bay are now producing good catches. Some of the best spots are around any of the bridges. Graveling Point/Pebble Beach area is now producing catches of stripers with most being shorts with a few keepers mixed in. The striper bite in Raritan Bay is heating up for boaters who are using clams. Best bets are to fish the flats in the bays for stripers this time of year as the sun warms the shallow waters during the day.

Thanks for the report Fred..... I wish I could post some reports but my boat won't be ready to splash for a couple more weeks.
