Small bluefish were the word of the day yesterday with a bunch of short stripers thrown in as well. But once it got to dusk into the night some nice stripers were caught from IBSP and the seaside area. It seems a lot of things worked, such as bombers, teasers, clams, and mullet. LBI had some smaller bluefish caught along with some kingfish. No word from any boaters lately. After this storm it looks like you will need to ride the beaches at low tide and see if any cuts have been closed or new ones opened.

Couple of stripers were caught in the morning but after that things were slow through the day. Once people got home from work and went fishing the dusk into dark bite was pretty good. A bunch of striers being reported on AVA's, metals, plugs and teasers from IBSP and Seaside area.

Not much from the bays either. Barnegat Bay and Great Bay had a few reports of blackfish being caught and that's all I heard yesterday.

Guess everyone stayed home because of the weather. No reports from Barnegat Bay, Great Bay or Tuckerton Bay.
Fresh Water Report: 9/30/2010
People got out and fished before the storm got here and they caught some bass and pickeral. All this rain should help with water levels and drop the water temps. This could very well put the fish into a feeding pattern. This is what most are waiting for.
