New Jersey Fishing Reports

Saltwater Report:
7/26/2010
I'm afraid I sound like a broken record again but fluke off the surf during the day on Gulp and brown sharks on bunker at night. I did hear a few bigger blues were caught in the IBSP surf. Garden State North reef is producing some decent sea bass. Hudson Canyon is producing some catches of yellowfin.

Bay / Jetty Report:
7/26/2010
Barnegat Bay, Barnegat Inlet, Manasquan Inlet, the Manasquan River, Little Egg Inlet, Great Bay and Tuckerton Bay all had reports of fluke. But you still have to work for them. It's like a yo-yo, one day there are more keepers then the next day. Yesterday there wasn't many keepers. If you get bored, you can always have some fun with snappers or crabbing. Both are doing very well in the bays now. I don't think the coming full moon slowed the crabbing down much.

Fresh Water Report:

7/26/2010
The storms yesterday kept most from fishing last night. During the day those who braved the heat did catch some bass, crappie, sunnies, and catfish from most lakes and streams. The water is a little discolored this morning because of the storm.
