Saltwater Report: 4/24/2010
Update 2:30PM
Few stripers being caught along the coast. Most have been caught on plastic shads but clams are working as well.

Update 11:15AM
Had a report that there is a steady pick of bigger blues from the pocket on IBSP. Also bunker is in Seaside heading south.

The beaches were a bit quite yesterday. I did hear of a few stripers being caught but wasn't told where. Graveling Point and Pebble Beach area is slow pickings for stripers now as the blues have moved in and it is hard getting below them. Boaters are into stripers up and down the coast still.

The surf has slowed down the past few days. It could be that the bunker that was around has moved out or the lack of people fishing. Today looks like it could be a good day. The wind right now is out of the NW and that should help some. If I hear anything from the surf I will update the report.

Fresh Water Report: 4/24/2010
Trout, crappies, sunnies, catfish, piceral, and a few bass are being caught from the local lakes and streams. Didn't hear anything from the Delaware River yesterday but I would guess those who fished it caught stripers, herring and shad.

Didn't have many reports yesterday. A lot of people fishing the Delaware for striper, herring and shad. The herring is ok but not as good as years past. The shad fishing has picked up a bit but still isn't great. Stripers are still being caught but that has slowed as well. Crappie, sunnies, catfish and some bass are being caught from Town Center, Miry Run (tech pond), the Assunpink dam at 130, and most other lakes.
