Saltwater / Jetty Report:

9/8/2011
Only a handful of reports out of LBI that some small blues on mullet. Also some short fluke on that same mullet. A few kingfish on bloods. It is taking at least 8ozs to hold. It could be unfishable today because of the swells from Katia. For boaters no one went out as the swells were bad. There are warnings for rip currents and small craft warnings today.

Heard most of the shore was a ghost town yesterday. I'll bet it was due to the rain and everybody back to work and school. I guess that means that I had no reports at all yesterday.

Bay Report:

9/8/2011
Most stayed at the dock yesterday because of the weather so no reports on the fishing. I did have some crabbing reports from docks and bulkheads and it seems right now it is still pretty good.

9/7/2011
The weather and people back to work kept the boats at dock side yesterday.

First off I forgot that the B.A.S.S. Federation Nation Mid-Atlantic Divisional was on the Delaware River Sept. 7-9. out of Burlington. Now on to the fishing reports. Yes I said reports as a few fished between the showers. Didn't hear much but Town Center had bass, sunnies, and catfish caught. Miry Run and Etra Lake had bass and pickeral caught and that's about it.

With the pouring rain and everyone back to work, no one was fishing.
