Saltwater / Jetty Report:

9/1/2011
The surf has cleaned up a bit but it is still a bit dirty. Also people and some life has returned as well. More fishing means more reports. LBI had some small blues being caught on mullet and kingfish on bloodworms. IBSP had mainly small bluefish on mullet and a few throw back fluke on bucktails with gulp. More boaters out yesterday but still not too much luck. Some had small bluefish and some throw back fluke from the reefs. Looks like things are slowly getting back to normal now. Also heard of a few running offshore yesterday but will have to wait to hear of what went on there.

Bay Report:

9/1/2011
Not everyone has the boat back in the water and right now you don't need it as docks and bulkheads are producing pretty good. Catches of snappers and blowfish head the list. Crabbing is red hot. Looks like the storm pushed some out of the rivers into the bays and boy are they hungry.

More people out fishing yesterday so a few reports did come in. Most places the water is still a bit high and coffee colored. Some bass, pickerel, and sunnies were reported caught. Most are on live bait with shiners catching the bass and pickerel and worms for the sunnies. Some did catch bass on worms as well.
