Saltwater / Jetty Report:

IBSP did open up yesterday. The beach is in great shape. LBI and IBSP had reports of small bluefish biting from the surf and that is about it. Boaters didn't find any fluke yesterday but did have some sea bass off wrecks in 80 feet of water. You did need around 10 to 16 ozs of lead to hold. Also heard of some bigger bluefish around the Barnegat Ridge.

We are here and open. No one fishing the surf yet but it should be ok to at least try today. IBSP should also be open today but call before you go.


Bay Report:

People that went crabbing that took along a rod had a blast with the very hungry blowfish and the snapper blues. Also crabbing seems not to have slowed because of the storm. And it has been a couple of very nice days.

Believe it or not but a few were out at least crabbing yesterday. The boaters did pretty well with the crabs as did people off of docks and bulkheads. Did hear of a few blowfish caught as well. Also was told that there is some peanut bunker around as well.

Some out fishing yesterday. Water is very high and coffee with cream colored. Didn't get any reports back so I don't know if anything was caught or not.

Not much to report as no one is fishing the past few days because of the storm and the flooding.
