Fisherman Fred's Fishing report, Hamilton, 8-2
Saltwater / Jetty Report:
8/2/2011
You can always tell it is a Monday by the reports. Only a hand full of reports came in. LBI had a bunch of kingfish caught on real bloodworms. IBSP had a few small blues and some throw back fluke being caught. Didn't hear anything from LBI or IBSP about the shark fishing last night, I guess because of the rain.Boaters are now going out to 60 foot of water and doing pretty good. So I guess it is now 40 to 60 foot of water to find fluke. Party boats are now back into the bluefish out at The Mole Hole.

Water temp is now 82. So most of you know what that means. LBI: kingfish, croakers, a few small blues, and some fluke
IBSP: few fluke, small blues, cow nose rays, sharks at night
Jetties: blackfish, small blues, fluke, trigger fish
Garden State Reef north and south and a few others are starting to produce some fluke now. Some of reefs and wrecks are also producing some sea bass and blackfish as well. 40 to 50 foot of water is still producing fluke but a lot are just under the limit throw backs.
Bay Report:
8/2/2011
Reports were kinda light yesterday. About the only thing reported was some blowfish and fluke out of the iCW of Barnegat Bay. Of course there are snapper blues all over the bays now as well.
8/1/2011
Once again had a bunch of reports out of the bays. Little Egg Inlet: Some fluke
Great Bay: A few fluke, blackfish, small sea bass, and snappers
Tuckerton Bay: A few fluke, blowfish, some kingfish and snappers
Barnegat Bay: some fluke, blowfish, and snappers
Crabbing: Crabbing is now getting hot around Tuckerton again. Barnegat Bay has been doing really well. Just get out n crab.
Had a report from Dave: Fished Barnegat Inlet today, 3 of us on the boat caught about 2 dozen fluke in 2 hrs. Only kept 2 as most were short. Also lost a couple of rigs probably small blues.

Few out fishing so the report is kinda thin today. Small bass and sunnies from Town Center and some bass and pickerel from Miry Run and that is all I heard.

Only a few reports came back from people that went fishing yesterday. Few bass, pickerel, and crappie from the three Assunpink lakes, Gropps Lake, Prospertown Lake, and Etra Lake. Some small bass and sunnies from Town center. Delaware River up by Bulls Island produced some small mouth and bass as well.

Lots fishing and lots of reports came in. Just to list a few places, Town Center, AMC, the three Assunpink lakes, Gropps Lake, Prospertown Lake, Colliers Mills, and Etra Lake. Reports of mainly bass, pickerel, and sunnies but there were also catfish, crappie, carp, perch and even a coulpe of bowfin being caught. Delaware River seems to be hit or miss for small mouth and walleye.
