Fresh Water Report: 2/13/2011
A little nicer day but for the wind. The wind made it cold. People still fishing the power plant and some on the ice. Power plant had mostly small mouth and crappie being caught yesterday. Had a report "ice was good today at Prospertown Lake bass and pickerel were being caught, quite a few people on the ice despite the very strong wind. Conditions good to go for tomorrow". I was told that the Assunpink Lakes and Prospertown Lake has about 10 inches of ice on them, but as always still be very careful. Some times the channels are not froze as well.

Still only reports from the power plant that small and large mouth bass and some catfish and crappie are being caught. I did hear of a few bigger small mouth being caught, but it was second hand so take it with a grain of salt.

Only reports I have come from the Trenton power plant on the Delaware River. Large mouth and small mouth bass plus some crappie and catfish thrown in.

Power plant is still running so that means thay are still pumping warm water into the Delaware River. That means that the bass and crappie fishing is still doing ok. Nothing about how the ice is. I might hear from some of the ice fishing people this weekend.

No reports from any where yesterday. Looks like we are going to get some warmer temp next week. It could be the start of some people fishing. As far as bait goes we do not stock much during the winter. However we will most likely start gearing up soon.

Nothing from any people fishing the ice. So I can not tell you how good or bad the ice is. I do know that I had some in the store buying shiners to go fish the ice. I have had a few reports from the power plant that the fishing is pretty good. Some small mouth and crappie are being caught as well as a few catfish.
