Saltwater / Jetty Report: 10/30/2010
Bit of a slow day yesterday but stripers were caught from LBI on bunker, IBSP and Seaside on bunker, clams and plugs. Few blues on mullet and metals as well. Water temp is 62 this morning.

10/29/2010
Few stripers from LBI, IBSP, the Seaside area, Normandy Beach, and Brick Beach yesterday. Most were caught on clams or bunker in the morning. I didn't hear anything from anybody that fished last night. The wind today could put a little chop on the water and turn the bite on because it should drop the water temps. Water temp this morning is 63. I guess it will be another wait and see type of day.

Update 8:25AM
Stripers caught this morning from the LBI surf on bunker.

Well if you thought that because of the weather there would be no fish yesterday, you would have been wrong. Stripers were caught from LBI, IBSP, Seaside, Normandy Beach, and Brick Beach. Most were caught on bunker or clams but up in Normandy Beach and Brick Beach poppers also worked. Reason could have been up there bluefish were also being caught. Water temps are 64 today. Boaters are having trouble catching stripers now because of the bigger bluefish. Stretch 25+ plugs have been working best right now

Bay Report: 10/30/2010
Barnegat Bay and Little Egg Inlet did produce some catches of stripers yesterday and that is all I heard.

10/29/2010
Only thing I heard was few stripers in the morning out of Little Egg Inlet and more on the falling tide.

10/28/2010
Few fished Barnegat Bay, Great Bay, Tuckerton Bay, Little Egg Inlet, or Barnegat Inlet yesterday but I did have a few reports from Barnegat Inlet that a couple stripers were caught.

Fresh Water Report: 10/30/2010
WOW is all I can say. The cold front must have kicked the fish feeding into high gear. Had reports from all over tha bass, pickeral, crappie, sunnies, and catfish were being caught.

10/29/2010
Had reports from Lake Assunpink, Miry Run, Gropps Lake, Etra Lake, and Prospertown Lake yesterday. They all said about the same thing, the fishing was good but not great. Well the warm weather we had slow the winter feeding down some but with this cooler weather for the weekend the fishing should pick back up. Live bait seems to be the ticket. Most are using shiners but worms and plastics are working as well. Bass and pickeral are most common but crappie and other are not far behind.
