Saltwater Report: 3/22/2010
The few reports I received told me the beaches were not full at all even though we had nice weather. Could be that people went fishing Saturday but did other things Sunday. I did hear of a few short stripers being caught from IBSP and that is about all. Looks like the next couple of days will be a wash because of the weather. I don't know why fish don't mind getting wet.

Bay Report: 3/22/2010
Either people didn't do too much fishing or I just didn't receive any reports from the bays. Most likely people are not saying much because they are afraid of giving away their spot. Here is the thing about so called spot burning, if I am not fishing the same tide, bait, etc... I may not catch fish. Also I could be fishing everything the same and still not catch fish. Just because you caught fish in that spot doesn't mean anybody else will.


Fresh Water Report: 3/22/2010
Lots of people fishing. Most were taking live bait (worms or minnows). Had reports of some good crappie fishing at Miry Run Lake also some bass were caught. People fishing the pines are having really good luck catching pickerel when using minnows. Sunnies and a few bass were caught from Town Center. A lot of people said they were going to fish Lake Mercer but I didn't get any reports from there. Just as a side note you should be able to catch some white perch from the Delaware River when fishing the tidal waters. Keep this in mind when fishing for stripers as white perch will steal your bloodworms right off the bigger hooks. Another person said that access to Stone Taven was bad and he had to put his truck in 4 wheel drive. So be careful if you plan on going there. I am a little low in the live baits. It went from slow to full bore fishing this weekend and it just about wiped me out. I will be ordering lots today to make sure I am fully stocked.
