    False Cape Frenzy

I started my day trolling on my jet ski off of Virginia Beach from Rudee Inlet to Cape Henry. I marked tons of bait most of the morning but did not get any bites. I saw a lot of boats picking up and heading South so around noon I ran down the coast to see if anything was happening. I ran almost 20 miles and did not see much going on off of False Cape, then somebody on the radio said they were hooked up into some Blue Fin Tuna further out. I went a couple more miles off shore and saw several boat working some birds. I put lines over and in no time caught several Striped Bass. No tuna that I could tell. Yes, I released them all. After that, I saw pods of hundreds off Striped Bass breaking on the surface so I tried to video it with my phone. Click on the first two images to see the videos. Click the symbol on bottom right to make it larger. The video does not do it justice considering the fish were 30-40 inchers. It was a site to see. Off course I took some pictures through the day.

    Here are some pictures.
