We fished the Slaughter Beach area last night with an open boat group. We fished the last couple hours of the flood tide. We anchored up at 5pm, and by 7pm the crew had hooked up eight drum, and brought four to the boat to 60lbs.! There are some larger fish showing up, as the average size was bigger! There are a lot of fish over there, and it should be real good this weekend with the new moon.
